Hey There!

My name is Ainsley (she/her)! I’m an actor, singer, and dancer currently based out of Miami, Florida with midwest roots. As an artist, I pride myself on my larger than life presence, powerful voice, and versatility onstage, and find myself drawn to projects full of uniqueness, passion, and heart.

I’m currently finishing up my senior year at the University of Miami (LYGC!), where I'm earning my BFA in Musical Theatre.

Originally from the Detroit area, I grew up in a big family where I was always surrounded by noise, music, laughter, and enough family singalongs of Mamma Mia to last a lifetime. My performing journey began when I was 10, after my mom signed me up for a summer theatre camp—mostly to avoid paying for a babysitter. From the first moment I stepped onstage, I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be. Now, even after all of these years, I can’t imagine pursuing anything else.

Outside of performing, you can find me spending way too much money on books, sketching, playing the New York Times Games with my dad, or holding a plank at the nearest PureBarre studio.

After graduation, I'm packing my bags and heading to the Big Apple to chase my dreams and maybe figure out how the subway works.
